As a review:
Prayer Key #1 = Pray - Positive Prayers!
Prayer Key #2 = Read the Bible
Prayer Key #3 = Attend Church
Prayer Key #4 = Yield your will to God's will.

Now for Key #5... even "positive people" know that hard times might come.  Even when it seems like we are doing everything "right", things can sometimes go wrong.  Some people may have financial problems, job or business hardships, health challenges, relationship or family difficulties.

How can we get past our times of trouble?  How can we be "up" when everything seems to be going "down"?  ... The answer includes how we prepare or react to times of difficulty.

Key #5 is:

Expect Blessings!

Psalms 62:5  My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him.

In a competition, usually if a person does not expect to win, they probably will not win.  We need to expect to succeed!  Expectation is a very powerful force in a person's life.  Most of the time people get what they expect.  Building your faith will give you the inner strength necessary to put forth the effort to be a champion.

If you have inner strength, outer circumstances will not control your life.  You know that no matter what happens, God is in control.  God is BIGGER than any challenge you face.  In the Bible, when the Apostle Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he could walk on water.  When Peter saw the wind, he became afraid, and he began to sink.  We need to keep our eyes on Jesus and God's Bible Promises, and not on the “wind” of discouragement or circumstances.

God wants to bless you!  Expectation and faith allows you to believe in God’s Promises for your life (even if you cannot always see them).  Faith believes in something that is not visible, as though it were visible.  Faith believes without seeing.    Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  Many people say, “If I see it, then I will believe it.”  They will probably never see it.  Jesus said, “blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed (John 20:29).”

Visualize yourself with success and God’s Blessings before actually possessing them.  Have faith and belief for miracles.  Walk by faith, not by sight.  God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
